PhD position (f/m)
Topic: Infrared Spectroscopy for Rapid Mycotoxin Analysis
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research in the field of IR spectroscopy for mycotoxin detection
- Perform reference analysis such as LC-MS/MS
- Collect and handle samples
- Manage and analyze data
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in chemistry or equivalent
- Scientific curiosity and a passion for analytical chemistry

Technician (f/m)
Your responsibilities
- Assistance in a microbiological research project at the University of Veterinary Medicine, Veterinaerplatz 1, 1210 Vienna
- Independent execution of microbiological, molecular biological, and biochemical experiments
- Support for laboratory organization and project administration
Your most important abilities and qualifications are
- Completed education in the field of Life Sciences (HTL, Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences)
- Experience in conducting microbiological and biochemical experiments
- Molecular biological experience is an advantage
- Good command of German and English (B2) in spoken and written communication
- Good computer skills: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- High interest and willingness to learn new methods
- Accuracy, teamwork ability, resilience
