PhD position (f/m)

Topic: Infrared Spectroscopy for Rapid Mycotoxin Analysis

Responsibilities:

• Conduct research in the field of IR spectroscopy for mycotoxin detection
• Perform reference analysis such as LC-MS/MS
• Collect and handle samples
• Manage and analyze data

Qualifications:                                                                                    

• Master’s degree in chemistry or equivalent
• Scientific curiosity and a passion for analytical chemistry

Technician (f/m)

Your responsibilities

• Assistance in a microbiological research project at the University of Veterinary Medicine, Veterinaerplatz 1, 1210 Vienna
• Independent execution of microbiological, molecular biological, and biochemical experiments
• Support for laboratory organization and project administration

Your most important abilities and qualifications are                                                                         

• Completed education in the field of Life Sciences (HTL, Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences)
• Experience in conducting microbiological and biochemical experiments
• Molecular biological experience is an advantage
• Good command of German and English (B2) in spoken and written communication
• Good computer skills: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• High interest and willingness to learn new methods
• Accuracy, teamwork ability, resilience
