Funding Agencies

The COMET-K1 Competence Centre FFoQSI is funded within the framework of COMET - Competence Centers for Excellent Technologies by the Austrian Federal Ministries BMK, BMDW and the Federal Provinces of Lower Austria, Vienna and Upper Austria. The COMET programme is managed by the Austrian Research Promotion Agency FFG.

The strategic objectives of COMET are to build up new competencies by initiating and supporting long-term research cooperation between science and industry at the highest level and to build up and secure the technological leadership of companies. By further developing and bundling existing strengths and integrating international research know-how, Austria is to be sustainably strengthened as a research location.
